Harry Potter Moment of the Week #16 | Judging by your family, would you be a Muggle-Born, Half-Blood, or Pure-Blood?

This is a weekly meme hosted by Uncorked Thoughts. Check her out for more information about the meme.

Judging by your family, would you be a Muggle-Born, Half-Blood, or Pure-Blood?

No matter how much I want to say I'm a full-blown witch, I feel like I'm a Muggle-Born. Although, a lot of legends pertain to Filipinos being witches and wizards, but those aren't the good kind. I feel like I'm a Muggle-Born because I'm the odd ball out, I'm pretty much the only that reads in both sides of my family, so from that already they can't relate to me, or vice versa. Also, my family just doesn't seem the "magic" kind. It doesn't mean that I'm not proud to be a Muggle-Born though, because Hermione is one and look where she is now. But, I'm still waiting for that Hogwarts letter, though even though I may or may not be 16 already.....

This is so me, by the way, in school, just not with a smile.

October TBR and What's Coming!

It's officially fall! Which means fall break and sweaters and contemporary for me! AND HALLOWEEN.
I am also currently reading Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan and OMG. And, also still reading Prime Deception by Carys Jones for a review.

Here's my TBR for the month:

As always this will not be definite and will probably change during the course of the month.

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout (The Lux Series #1) Little Book Club read of the month, for last month but I never got around to reading it but I still want to read it and it's Halloween so. I am so excited because everyone loved this series. Apparently, it's an alien romance book and I haven't read one of those in awhile.

- The House of Hades by Rick Riordan (Heroes of Olympus #4) I just want to get to this book so bad, especially before Blood of Olympus comes out, which is on October 6!

- Blood of Olympus (Heroes of Olympus #5) SO SO SO EXCITED. But at the same time so sad because another favorite series of mine is ending.

- Winger by Andrew Smith Another Raeleen May recommend and also JessetheReader, who I absolutely adore.

Anna & the French Kiss by Stephenie Perkins Finally picking this romance book. I wouldn't say it's hyped, but it's popular in the BookTube community.

- The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair by Joel Dicker Last month's book club pick for my school but never got around to it because of homecoming week then finals this week. I just didn't have time but I really want to read this book.

- Vicious by V.E. Schwab This month's book club pick and I am excited! I heard that JessetheReader loves this book, and the author, and I've never read a V.E. Schwab book, so why not, right?

To Be Reviewed:

Prime Deception by Carys Jones Still never finished this book, and I feel so bleh because I really want to get the review up for this book.
Eon and Eona by Alison Goodman Finished Eona in beginning of September and loved it so much!

What are you reading this month?
Have you read any of my picks?

September Wrap Up

September was so stressful, to the point that I didn't even have time to read anything unless I stay up and not get any sleep, BUT I pulled through and read three books! I thought I wasn't going to finish any, even Beatrice and Virgil, which I read for my language arts class. Don't worry though, October will be so much better because FALL and FALL BREAK. YES. Even though, you don't really feel fall here in Hawaii, what with the temperatures are still rising.

Books I Finished:

Eona by Alison Goodman (Eon #2) EONA EONA EONA. This was so, so, so good. I may have read the second half in one sitting.... It was that good. Expect a duology review in October!

Beatrice and Virgil by Yann Martel As I said in one of my previous Friday Memes post, I actually like this book, even if it's a required reading. It just provoked so much thought and reflection, and the creepiness in it made me want to read it even much more. I was turned off at some points because there were just parts that I didn't understand or get, but overall great book about the importance of remembering the Holocaust.

Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan (Heroes of Olmypus #2) I missed Percy way too much and I love this one. This one, by far, is my favorite one in this series, not only because of Percy, but also because of the new characters especially Frank. This book is so fast-paced and very humorous, but also portrayed a more mature Percy and not as reckless as in the PJO series.

Which books did you finish?
Favorite of the month? Personally, I couldn't pick between Eona and Son of Neptune.

I am so sorry! I didn't post or tweet anything last week because school is killing me. But, last week was only the calm before the storm. This week is finals week, meaning I will be going to fall break next week. So, please, please bear with me! I will try to post as much this week, maybe just my monthly wrap-up and TBR, but I will try my best!
If any of you have any tips on blogging, reading, and handling school at the same time, will truly be appreciated. I am begging you.
Anyway, I'll see you in my next one.
